Andrea Mastrobattista:
Living an INSPIRING Life

Communication, brainstorming and inspiration, in various formats, have always been essential to Andrea Mastrobattista’s life and work. She recently realized that her public speaking career began at the age of five when she was the poster child for her local Elks Club, which required her to make public appearances. At her first Annual Elks Club Dinner Dance, as she was leaving at the end of the evening, she boldly marched up to the bandstand, asked the band leader for the microphone, turned to the audience, smiled and said,

“I had a fun time and I just wanted to say good night to everyone!”

Her interest in public speaking was re-ignited and continued throughout high school and college. To promote public awareness about people with disabilities, she spoke to various peer groups about her experiences as a person with a physical handicap.

After nearly 16 years in the corporate arena in various communications roles, transitioning into an inspirational speaking career is a natural progression for Andrea, since she is focusing on topics to which she can relate and about which she feels passionate. Her overall theme is “Living an Inspiring Life”, and her workshops include “The Power of Brainstorming”, “Discovering the Career Meant for You” and “Facing Your Fears.”

She has spoken for such organizations as The New Jersey Professional Coaches Association and the Business and Professional Women of Bernardsville. She is currently booked through June 2007 to present her monthly “Being the REAL YOU” workshop series at the School of St. Elizabeth in Bernardsville, NJ.

Many people seem to be on a quest to discover what will make them truly happy in life, and Andrea is no exception. Having a physical handicap has lead Andrea to an understanding of the psychological freedom and power to choose to have a positive outlook, and the core belief that anyone, regardless of the circumstances, can live his or her most fulfilling life. Her philosophies are applicable to anyone who is searching for peace, happiness and the responsibilities that come with these choices. Her mission is to help each person she encounters to follow the path to his or her own inspiring life.

“Inspirational speaking is truly a reciprocal experience for me,” says Andrea. “When I am sharing my thoughts and experiences with people and I can see the enthusiasm on their faces and in their reactions, THAT’S what inspires me!
